Sooke Ocean View is located in the seaside town of Sooke, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. We are approximately half an hour drive from BC's capital city, Victoria, four hours from Vancouver, and four hours from Seattle, Washington.

Getting to Vancouver Island

By Air: Fly to Victoria International Airport direct from many Canadian cities, such as Vancouver. Also fly direct from Seattle.

By Ferry: BC Ferries operates a car/passenger ferry from Vancouver to Victoria. Washington State Ferries runs between Port Angeles, Washington, and Victoria.

Driving Directions

We are quite easy to find. From Victoria take hwy 1 north bound and turn off at exit 10 onto hwy 14 to 'View Royal - Colwood'. Before you get into the town of Sooke you will pass a pub called the 17 Mile House. The entrance to our property is exactly 1.5 km past the pub on the left side of the road. Look for our sign.

As one of the oldest settlements on Vancouver Island's West Coast, Sooke appears to have been specifically located with recreational fishing in mind. 35 kms. west of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, this quiet, uncrowded community includes Sooke and East Sooke, all bordering Sooke Basin and Sooke Harbour.
